This is my first and I got this tattoo because it reminded me of my childhood, and all the imagination that most of us lose once we grow up. Scotty did an amazing job and it hurt but it was bearable. He was pretty thrilled and surprised that I didn’t flinch or cry during the whole process.

So, I know this is just a pretty simple rose tattoo, but it was my very first one ever. I got this tattoo in memory of my grandfather who passed away a year ago (his favorite flower was a yellow rose) and in celebration that I overcame my eating disorder. It really just offered closure for me in the sense that I don’t have to go back to the depression I suffered after his death and that there’s always beauty in a bad situation if you choose to see it. I had this done at Savannah Ink in Savannah, GA. Peter was awesome and super calm with it being my first tattoo. I can’t thank him enough!
